Ensuring smooth business transfers

When you factor in the digital assets of a business and the risks you face as a buyer or a seller in not fully transferring these assets, then things can get a whole lot worse.
I offer a service to help with both parties through the in and outs of the digital assets. I sit down with the seller and identify the areas that need to be transferred, assets that need to be disposed of to allow the new owners more freedom and make note of the pinpoints that could prove to be an issue for both parties in the future. I then produce a full report highlighting each area, the risks and advised solutions for both parties to agree to. Finally, I agree a switch over date when I carry out the work to ensure a smooth business transfer.
From main areas such as transferring a domain, ensuring emails and other forms of communication are ready to go for the new owners and payment details are updated to smaller areas, such as the transfer of site analytics, social media management and contact updates, there is a lot to go through. I ensure continuity for the business, the last thing you want as a new owner is for you to lose out on business because customers are emailing the old owners, and nothing has been set up for you to see this communication.
